Caroling on the Mile: Thursday, Friday and Saturday of the first three weeks of the month (Dec.5-7, 12-14, and 19-21)

Sing along to your favorite holiday carols with a talented group of carolers giving it their all. Grab dinner, an ice cream or a hot chocolate, peppermint mocha, or eggnog from Starbucks and sit outside on Miracle Mile where you’ll catch them strolling by spreading their holiday cheer.


A Christmas Carol, the Musical: December 7, 14, 21, and 22nd

Enjoy this classic Charles Dickens tale of Tiny Tim and Ebenezer Scrooge come to life as only the Actors Playhouse can. This musical adaptation, written particularly for families to enjoy, is a must-do during December event in Coral Gables.


Coral Express at McBride Plaza: Saturday, December 14th

All aboard the Coral Express at McBride Plaza, the green space next to Barnes & Noble on Miracle Mile, where a trolley has been converted into a festive mode of holiday transport, perfect for a nice family photo. There will be a screening of the new classic holiday film Elf, carolers, storytime with Mrs. Claus, an ugly sweater contest, magician performance and more family-friendly fun.


Films at the Coral Gables Art Cinema: all month long

The Miracle on 34th Street and The Man Who Invented Christmas are screening in the cozy confines of the Coral Gables Art Cinema during the month of December. You don’t want to miss this opportunity to revisit the classics are bring a bit of holiday magic into your evenings. On Thursday, December 19th at 7 PM there is a free screening on Home Alone 2 on Miracle Mile for all to enjoy. on Christmas Day, the new and much anticipated adaptation of Little Women opens to bring this classic to a new audience and retell the story to long-time fans.


Junior Orange Bowl Christmas Parade: Sunday, December 15th

It the most wonderful time of the year for a Christmas Parade in Coral Gables! In celebration of active youth and community, the Junior Orange Bowl Parade will take place on Sunday, December 15 at 5 pm and this year’s theme is “Miracle on the Mile: A holiday and parade celebration.” The parade will march through Downtown Coral Gables, the Host City of the Junior Orange Bowl, and stride along Miracle Mile. The Junior Orange Bowl Parade is a 71-year tradition in South Florida created especially for kids and perfect for families that is free to attend and open to the public. Fostering community pride, the parade features a vivid arrangement of marching bands, colorful floats, community groups, and creative parade units.


Coral Gables Holiday Park: now through January 6, 2020

The Coral Gables Holiday Park is the perfect holiday dream. With fun for everyone, this park will be open for general use Monday through Sunday from sunrise to 10 pm until January 6th, 2020 right in front of Coral Gables City Hall. If you want to snap a photo with Santa before he leaves for the North Pole on December 23rd, visit him on December 16, 17, 18 from 5 pm to 10 pm and from December 23, from 12 pm to 10 pm. Full-color photos are only $8 (cash only) and include a framed postcard!
