Brunch It Up in Downtown Coral Gables

When making weekend plans in Miami, you can’t miss brunch in Downtown Coral Gables! Their hundred-year-old streets like Miracle Mile and Giralda Avenue are popping with some of the trendiest brunches in town. From bottomless mimosas, fluffy or runny eggs, cinnamon sugary French toasts, and even DJs, the Gables dining scene is sure to surpass your expectations.

For the classy brunchers who are looking for a place to take their family from out of town or a first date, Gustave, the French restaurant near historic City Hall is a great choice for your Sunday meal. For breakfast, order Croque-Monsieur or Oeuf Benedict Jambon De Paris or one of the omelets. What’s not to love when their dishes are accompanied by fresh croissants and other specialties from their pastry Chef Ben Pagli. Inside or outside, Gustave offers French aesthetic and charm to the Coral Gables dining scene.

On the busy corner of Ponce de Leon and Miracle Mile you’ll find Crema Gourmet Expresso Bar under the arches of the Colonnade Hotel. Low-key, dependable, and serving breakfast all day you can order fresh fruit, sandwiches, bowls, egg dishes, and several kinds of coffees to keep you caffeinated at a working brunch or casual get-together with friends.

Threefold Café, an Australian all-day breakfast, is a favorite in Downtown Coral Gables! Professional brunchers can eat here every day from 7:30 am to 3 pm and sometimes 4 pm. You can never go wrong with their special avocado toast, what they call eggies, and various bowls including the Big Bad Aussie! Their Australian coffee, roasted in house can keep you going all day but we’d rather stay till close sippin’ on pitchers of Sangria or their specialty mimosas!

For a taste of España, Bulla Gastro Bar has a delectable three course prix fixe menu filled with cheeses, jamon, huevos and flan! The Mediterranean revival style of architecture in the Gables and Bulla are just a perfect pair if you haven’t been able to sneak across the pond to the Adriatic sea just yet. With Miami’s spring weather, the Spanish accents and bottomless drinks who would even know the difference?

If you’re looking for more than just a yummy meal, The Gramercy brunch is a must experience for you! Bringing the music scene of Miami to the Gables, Gramercy has live DJ’s on Saturday and Sunday but Sunday is more of a Disco theme. Their eclectic interior design style is the perfect backdrop for your brunch fit and they even have an Influencer Instagram Challenge if you post all the great snaps you take. Signature cocktails, pancakes, pictures, performances… What’s not to love?

Good ol’ Tap 42 has become a staple in whichever location in Miami you choose to visit! Their bottomless drink options for $25 have a drink for everyone! Beer, Bloody Mary’s, Mimosas… You choose! We’re not sure if their “Hangover Cure Shots” filled with 11 Vodka really help, but they sure feel like one of the healthier options. Catch their DJ on Sundays and vibe out tucked away on Giralda Ave while your boyfriend is distracted by Sunday sports.

Teetering between pizza and breakfast? New to town, Craft Coral Gables serves both and with an Argentinian twist with fun beet sauces, benedicts, salads and crispy chicken! Great food, service and the ambiance of people watching on Giralda Plaza is a great pick for all ages and times of the day!

For more chill options in Downtown Gables, another Argentinian spot, Graziano’s Market serves breakfast steak dishes and an assortment of Paninis daily until noon! For sweet and savory on-the-go, Stephanie’s Crepes is now open at 9 AM and packs a delicious meal into a crepe cone. Then of course, there are the coffee and pastry goods at Passion Del Cielo for a quickie option or an espresso martini at one of the many Gables watering holes if you’re just looking for a little bit of caffeine and a spirit!
